A Brief History of MAKS

1975
Establishment of MAKS Aviation
MAKS Aviation Services Co. Ltd. was established in 1975 by four former British Airways employees. MAKS was the first privately owned ground handling company at Khartoum international Airport at the time. With all three founders having been formerly employed and trained by British Airways, they achieved the highest standards of service in the aviation field. Using their previously acquired knowledge, the founders of MAKS set out to create a company that provided the highest quality of ground handling services.
In 1975, MAKS handled all of the British Airways flights through Khartoum Airport. -
